my first build

i want to build my first pc. these are the parts that i want to use:

cpu: r5 1400

mobo: msi b350 tomahawk

ram: corsair vengeance lpx 8 gb

hdd; seagate barracuda 1 tb

ssd: ?

case: phanteks eclipse p350x 

psu: evga 500 W 

graphicscard: ?

 

i am not sure which graphicscard i want to get and if i am going to need an ssd. 

my budget is about 800 euro's. if someone knows a better alternative, i am happy to

get some suggestions.

i just want to play games on this pc. games like lol, overwatch and assassin's creed.

you should get an ssd, just get the cheapest 480gb, and get a 1060 or a 570/580

If you've got some extra cash, for not that much more(only$20 here in Canada) you can jump up to the Ryzen 5 1600, which is a 6 core with SMT instead of the 1400 which is only a 4 core with SMT. It's a much better deal.

Personally though, I would remove the SSD and get a better CPU. Storage and RAM are easy to upgrade but CPUs can be harder when the motherboard changes. If you enable fast boot in the BIOS and manage your startup programs, a HDD will do just fine.
