Need suggest for display setup

Currently using a normal 1080p, with a gtx1070, and playing games perfectly fine

also had a ps4 pro connected to the monitor.

 

decided to upgrade a monitor for a 4k hdr monitor/ TV for my ps4 pro, cause it looks pretty impressive with hdr

 

the problem is, heard that playing games(PC) in 1080p on a 4k monitor looks pretty bad, however, I don’t think my gpu will handle 4k with 60fps. 

 

Need suggestion from you guys

1. Do you think getting a 4k tv for my ps4 pro instead of getting a 4k monitor is better?

 

2. Based on your experience, is gaming in 1080p on 4k display look blurry compared to on a 1080p display?

1) If you have space for a 4k TV or a 4k monitor for your PS4, then I'd go with that. You can always downsize the resolution of the 4k monitor to 1080p in Windows for your games, but it typically looks weird. 

2) When you are going from a 4k to 1080p display, the image quality will likely look less sharp and slightly blurry
