Out of any Corsair RGB fans I believe the HD140’s have the most static pressure and maybe cfm as well. The LL’s are pretty (so are the HD). If you’re talking about the RGB versions of the ML they’re worse than their LED or normal fan counterpart. (Regular LED or ML fans have the best specs out of any Corsair fan as well as magnetic levitation, hence the name ML). Look on their website and compare CFM and Static Pressure to decide which ones you want. These are the only things I can remember from the top of my head :P

But is there a benefit of paying 5x for 10 cfm more?

If you can find fans that are the same size and have negligible difference in specs AND are cheaper, pick the cheaper one. If they’re RGB they’re gonna be super expensive if they’re from NZXT or Corsair. Thermaltake Riing fans are cheaper but they often perform and look worse so it’s up to you. If you’re looking for pure performance Corsair ML fans come in 2 packs of 120 or 140mm which are pretty decently priced for how they perform. If you want RGB fans but you don’t want to spend that premium then try ThermalTake (they’re cheaper but still expensive) or some offbrand ones like Aigo.

Their hd fans are the cheapest and have a ring of 12 leds around the edge with a clear frame. They have good static pressure. The ll fans are their best rgb fans as they have 12 leds on the ring and 4 in the hub, all controllable. They have adequate static pressure, not the best but still better than most fans. Their ml fans have the best performance. They deliver the most airflow, at 75cfm compared to 45cfm with the previous. They have an excellent/overkill static pressure and a very good noise to performance ratio. They have an rgb version or the ml fan with 4 individual leds in the hub. The hd are cheapest, the ll and non rgb ml are the same.

it worth it spending 100$ on a pair of fancy fans?

It's mainly for lighting so it depends on how much you care about the aesthetic. There are cheaper fans that perform similarly.
