cmos socket broke

Yeah, you can use some electrical tape, or even hot glue (I would use glue as a last resort).

The socket of my cmos battery is broken.

I found some forums that said that you should glue it with hot glue, and others that say that you can just tape it.

Wat should i do?

You can buy a new a holder that costs like 2 dollars from a electronica shop or something like that im sure that you can get it chepper and solder the new one to the board but be carreful with the polarity
