Mobile youtube going black

Hello,

 

I got a samsung luna pro about 6 months ago. Ever since I got it the phone my youtube will randomly go black and the only way to fix it is to close it and then reopen the app. It is really annoying. I have uninstalled and reinstalled youtube multiple times in attempt to fix it but that did nothing. My phone is up-to-date as well. Cleared the apps cache as well but again failed to help. Any ideas. I have looked it up online but have not gotten a answer that works.

Usually for video viewer type apps they will remain running as long as the video continues without tripping power settings since it counted as a live app. Check to see whether you're phone has a power setting that overrides that. Test to see whether battery saver is active or if screen lockout is the cause (Just adjust settings and time it whenever you're on youtube and it cuts out))
