is 27inch too big for 1080p ?

alot of people tolled me that 27inch wont look good with 1080p

if i go 24 inch i will set closer to it and if i go 27 inch i will set a bit more far from it so distance isnt a question
should i go 24 inch then ? or 27 inch will look fine ?

Total subjective.

I use a 42" 1080p Plasma. For my viewing distance its 'ok'. I deal with the lower PPi in favor of overall superior image quality vs LCD. Once OLED comes down in size ill be getting one of those around the 40" size at 4k which will be much better as it will be double the PPI (~110) i currently have (~53).

Remember when comparing monitors in regards to their PPI, a 1080p screen and a 4k screen will look significantly different if your using those 2 different resolutions in the comparision image. By which i mean if you run a game at 1920x1080 on the 1080p screen then at 3840x2160 on the 4k screen, obviosly the 4k one will look better. However if you run the game at 3840x2160 on the 1080p screen AND on the 4k screen, you will get a much better idea of the difference as the rendering resolution is the same.

it being subjective i sugest you simply tak a look at a 24" and a 27" 1080p screen as see what you think. Personaly i think its ok, but im used to 42" 1080p.. like i said, subjective.
