So first off i have a asrock mother board with an i5 i think 7400. My gpu is a gtx 1060 3gb ik i need a new gpu would 6gb be enough for a constant 144fps on fortnite? Also i really need to upgrade my cpu for streaming but thw last time my models bios waa upgraded i believe was 2016 can i still upgrade? One idea i had was buy a new mother board with cpu and install is that possible or should i buy a seperate streaming pc? Please help me thank you!

If you're talking about 1080p 144Hz, then I don't think a 6GB 1060 would cut it, unless you reduce the graphics settings in the game. A 1070 would cope great though, even on maximum settings.

honestly you could probably get away with 100+ fps if you were willing to turn your settings down, not sure about constant 144 though.
if you were in the market for a new GPU, your best bet is probably 1070 or better
a 6GB 1060 wouldn't even come close to being worth it, it's only a very minuscule bump up from the 3GB in terms of performance.

I believe that GTX 1070 have 8GB of video memory.

 

When looking at GTX 1070, consider also GTX 1070 Ti as pricing can be fairly close.
