Hello,

I decided to go with watercooling. Just want to make sure that all these components work together:

Thanks

Yes they do, but i would recommend you consider getting:

A better quality radiator from another company if you want 30mm thick rads. My recommendation is HWlabs.

Drain valve which usually requires a T-splitter so that you have a way to drain the fluid when maintenance time arrives.

What would be wrong with this rad?

For the drain valve, can I just hook it up to an empty port on the GPU block or to the res?

It's one of the worst slim rads performance wise

Yes you can if it's the lowest point in your loop. Otherwise, you'll have a hard time emptying the loop. I'm using the top inlet of my res so I attached the drain valve to the unused inlet on the front which is also the lowest point of my loop.

For me my lowest point would be my gpu. My rad/pump would be in the optical drive bays.

I'll look into getting a different radiator then. I realised that it doesn't have to be that slim as I'm putting it in the front of my case (Corsair Obsidian 450D)

If the lowest point is the gpu, you’ll up can use the extra ports on the block. So won’t really need much more than a male to male fitting.

If if you have the room for a thicker rad I would so that. 40-45 or so.

Performanc will be close to the same anyway compared to some open bench test scenario.
