Depends.  If you are doing something mundane such a writing a letter, working a spreadsheet or something else along those lines, then don't bother.  But if you're doing something such as playing games or some other highly graphic activity then you might want to consider.  But without knowing more about how you use your system and what you do with it then to get to a reasonable answer to your original question is a little more involved.

What do you do with the computer? Which games are you playing? Have you run into a game you couldn't play at adequate framerate even after playing with the settings a bit?
