spotify download limit?

so i got a 128gb iphone recently, so i started downloading my entire spotify library, about 4800 songs, to it. however i now get an error message saying i've reached the maximum number of downloads. 

 

i don't know how many exactly it downloaded, i just set it to download and turned the screen off, but it's not my entire library. 

 

my phone is saying i'm using 40.6 out of the 128gb i have, so it's not a storage problem.

I believe (after a bit if googling) that the download limit is 3333 songs

assuming a 3 minute average per song, 4800 songs is over a month worth of non-stop, 24/7 music.

Spotify runs on a monthly subscription, so I'd assume the limit to how many songs you can download is that. A month. (I'm not entirely sure what happens to those songs once the sub expires and isn't renewed, but I suppose the app keeps them for a buffer period and auto deletes them. maybe)

Theres a limit of 3333 songs you can download.

3333 per device, up to a maximum of 3 devices, adding up to 9999 songs, according to 15 seconds on the gargler

3333 songs is the limit. How the fuck do you listen to 4800 songs? I have like 6.

Im at 12,000 in iTunes. Metal and Country for me.

 

Thats why i have Spotify to stream music, and have select favourite albums downloaded to my iPhone for listening to offline when i can't get a signal.

 

Cant wait to get a new iPhone as my iPhone 6s+ is showing its age now, slowing down and 64GB is not enough now. Been awaiting the September Keynote for the past 6 months!!!
