try another DVI-DL cable, 144hz 1080p is pushing it for DVI-DL, it should be able to do it though since that has a proper DVI DL port and it's pushing more than 60hz (single link is rated to 1920x1200 @ 60hz maximum)

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

Can I get 144hz with an gtx 660ti? Im using an dvi dual link but i dont get any 144hz option in nvidia control panel or display settings, mby its the cable or the gpu?

That's an old part, so it's certainly not impossible that it can't. What sort of framterates can you confirm that you can run?

Also I've heard a lot of DVI cables have dual link connectros but the cable itself is missing the wires for that.

DL-DVI should give you 1080p 144hz max. But there is one issue that could be the problem. Active DVI is different than passive. DVI-I (passive) has 4 pins on the left for analog. You could be trying to connect a active port to a passive, causing issues.

Your HDMI on your GPU will do 1080p 144hz easily. So I recommend that.

I couldn't get 144hz on mine, but found it. It's on the page in the picture, and you scroll through the options of resolution and each one has categories. Select pc 1080p and then your can change the hz to 144 after you've applied the settings. In the pictrue it shows HD, SD, and you'll need to find the PC category

Check for the proper cable and using the correct port on the card.

If not, just lower it to 120.
