My parents gave me the option to upgrade my mouse and keyboard ( from a Cougar Deathfire Gaming combo to Hyperx Alloy FPS keyboard and Pulsefire mouse) or upgrade my monitor ( from a ViewSonic VX1932wm-LED to a Samsung LS24F350FHLXZB)

What would you recommend me to upgrade first?

What's the budget/country for the new monitor? What games do you play? What's your CPU/GPU?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Probably look for a 1080p 120hz or 144hz monitor then ya.

i would try to get a second hand 144hz 1080p screen then, you might be able to find something, i dont know of any low priced 144hz screens..

The only 144 hz monitor i could find was at 208 dollars and it looks like it had some pretty rough use, anything else is above 500 dollars

Just save your money and look around for stuff, probably going to be your best bet for a decent monitor.
