Microsoft Office 2013 recently installed...

Hey Guys!

 

So I recently installed Microsoft Office 2013 in Upgrade mode, as I had 2007 already. I first installed it on my Core 2 Duo PC with Pre-installed Windows 7, and then I tried to install it in my Pentium 4 PC with fresh Windows 7 Install, but then while installation it says "Proof.cab not found" and gives me a pop-up to browse to its location.

Now I think it is because it was for one use only, or is it something else??

Sounds like it corrupted rather than it being a install limit. Redownload and retry (or is it a disc, in that case, you might want to rip it on the Core 2 and install via USB as the optical drive in the P4 system might be at fault).

It is a Disk and how do I collect ALL installation files from Core 2 Duo PC?

 

EDIT: I KEEP USING MY CORE 2 DUO AS TEST BENCH, SO IF INSTALLATION FILES ARE BIG I CAN DIRECTLY CONNECT MY P4 HDD TO SATA AND THEN TRANSFER FILES - I HAVE A 16GB USB

Notice the C in disc. There's a difference between a disc (like a CD) and a disk (harddrive, ssd, USB flash drive). Which one is it?

Ok. Put it in the CD drive on the Core 2 machine, then copy the contents to a USB flash drive or to the SATA disk of the P4 system when that's connected to the Core 2 machine. Then run it from the P4 system again to see if it works. 

 

By the way, you will need W7 SP1 to install Office 2013 iirc.
