My HDD seems to be slowing down all of my render times and general performance of my computer.

I wanted to but a 2TB SSD but they are to expensive. So i could a Segate FireCuda 2TB for a good price, but i wasnt sure if they are fast or any good?

I would still go for an ssd instead of a hybrid mechanical drive. Hybrid drives are hardly any faster than a conventional mechanical drive. Have you considered a smaller capacity SSD e.g. 1TB and a mechanical drive?

How big is said render estimated to be?. Because what I’d say is grab a OS SSD then a dedicated project nvme drive. Once said project is done, move over to a HDD. Are these renders used for commerical work? If so you have to think about how much time a SSD could save you.

I bought a Samsung 860 Evo 500GB for Windows, Adobe and FL Studio and for all my other files likes games, ill use the 2TB HDD

Would that speed up render times, because right now my GPU and CPU don't even get used when rendering

EDIT: The file was 2.7GB when it was completed and used lots of Red Giant plugins and yes tey are for "commercial stuff"

This video took 37 Hours to render at 720p 30FPS and would have taken 82 Hours at 1080p 60FPS

Grab a nvme drive for projects from amazon. 970 pro.  See if it helps if not return to amazon within 30 days. Not sure what the online retyrns policies are wherever you live.
