Hi guys and gals, looking to plan my first build and running to a budget of roughly 13-1400 pounds. I will mainly be using this rig for gaming(CSGO,PUBG,GTAV) and streaming from time to time. I have been looking at processors and am undecided but honestly prefer the ryzen cpu, I also considered the 2600x but have the money in my budget for the 2700x but dont know if this is a waste of money for what I will be using it for. Any alterations to the build or suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I am getting a headache scouring the web and trying to make my mind up, Thanks.

Very solid build, I support going up to the 2700x, you will appreciate it f you keep it around for a bit or if you ever decide to stream more often. Props for not RGBing' all the things.

If you have the budget, absolutely go for a 2700X, its extra cores will benefit it nicely for streaming. Are you considering any storage expansion such as a 1TB HDD for games or is everything going to be on that SSD?

Thanks man I have revised and revised this constantly looking for the best for the budget I have. Not really interested in all RGB haha more about how it works not how it looks.

Yeah will be adding at least a 1tb hdd just forgot to include, just comparing them and deciding what to go for.

Ah right, nicely done. Something like a Seagate Barracuda or a WD Blue will do the job. But yes, it's nice to compare around to make sure you know what you're getting for your money.

  • 2 weeks later...

Ordered my parts ended up going for a ryzen 2600x and also with a msi 1070ti armor. Is the armor as bad as they say? Got it for a good price so im not too fussed if the issue is with noise. Ive only found a few reviews on the 1070ti armor so any feedback would be great, thanks.
