This is my PC and i'm ordering it today. I was wondering if i needed the fan splitter?

Well, your case should come with fans, so you shouldn't need the extra ones, but don't quote me on that. The board looks like it has 1 CPU fan header and 3 SYS fan headers, so if you want 3 fans, no, but more than that, you need it.

 

Or did you mean the RGB splitter cable?

Im more worried about the "horrifically" inbalanced build.........

 

Drop Z370 board for a B360 From Asus

Drop 8600k for the 8400 maybe drop the AIO

Get a GTX1060 6GB or an RX 580 8GB

Get rid of the STUPID AIO and get an air cooler and a better GPU like the 1060 or if prices are good, the 1070.

 

Don't get that thermal paste because it's nog going to be any better than what comes with today's coolers, AS5 might even be worse.

 

Cut the fans, case already comes with three and get a lower wattage PSU to save more money again, it's not a bad unit though but I'd get something else either a 650W or 500W.

It is top tier thermal compound, close to the only things that beat it are liquid metal ones, and it comes in at an insanely reasonable price.
