Unfortunately no 4k ultrawide yet. The 4k high refresh rate monitors are super expensive. I would recommend a 3440 x 1440 100hz ips monitor for your situation.

^beat me to it, I would recommend towards like a 31.5/32" 4k IPS, but you will only find 60hz panels right now since high refresh panels are $2k+

Currently I use a  Acer XF270HU for my work/play, color accuracy is great once I calibrated with my Spyder Pro 5.  But I'm looking to move to 4k from 1440p (144hz) since I want 10bit color plus a higher coverage of AdobeRGB (have 100% sRGB and 85% AdobeRGB currently)

Project Gray Scale
Intel Core i7 6900k @ 4.2Ghz - Dominator 32GB DDR4 2400 CL10 - Samsung 970 EVO+ 1TB NVMe - 2 Samsung 840 EVO 1TB (Gaming and Sratch) - 2 Barracuda 2TB
Asus x99 Deluxe - MSI Aero OC GTX 1080Ti - Seasonic 760 XP² - Mod1PC Custom Cables - EKWB CPU & GPU Blocks Nickle/Plexi - EKWB D5 PWM
EKWB PE360 - Corsair ML120 (6)  - InWin 303- NK65 Entry Watermelon w/ Gat Laseron 70g (205g0 & Filmed) - Logitech G Pro x Superlight
Kanto YU2 - Sennheiser PC360 SE - Acer XF270HU

BUT DOES IT FOLD?! https://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/user_summary.php?s=&u=963814

A 100Hz 3440x1440 signal takes very close to the same bandwidth as a 4k 60hz panel, also I really don't think you'd be disappointed in a 3440x1440 resolution.

The PG348Q fits your IPS + high refresh rate  requirement:
ASUS ROG SWIFT PG348Q

However it has some drawbacks, you have to OC the screen to get to 100Hz which can cause problems when running the signal through a splitter, also in my experience it was constantly reverting which was pretty annoying.

Eventually I switched to the XG35VQ:
ROG Strix XG35VQ

Runs native 3440x1440 @ 100Hz, also it has HDMI 2.0 and DP 1.2 while the PG348Q only has DP 1.2 and HDMI 1.4. It has other improvements over the PG348Q like better viewing angles, sRGB coverage, contrast, size, and more. However it is a VA panel not IPS, but it's kind of up for debate on which one is objectively "better". Lastly the PG348Q has G-Sync while the XG35VQ does not, but G-Sync only kicks in if your FPS is under the monitors max refresh rate. If you have anything above a GTX 1080 it won't even kick on that often except for in the most demanding of games.

VA vs IPS:

The argument against VA panels is they typically have higher response time in comparison to IPS but in this case the XG35VQ (VA) has lower response time than the PG348Q (IPS):
