Dear sir/madam,

Recently I bought an i7 8700k with watercooling kraken x62 with max temps of 62 c when 100% stress tested. So I decided to try and overclock my cpu. All the tutorials on how to overclock an i7 8700k user cpu-ratio inside of the bios, which I can't find, only ring ratio is the one I see. My motherboard is: Z370 GAMING M5 (MS-7B58)

Thank you in advance and I would like to hear from you soon!

dont use software, use BIOS. It will be called core multiplier or something along the lines of multiplier, a good starting point i would say is 4.9GHz (49) wwith 1.30volts on the core. Then play with voltage try lowering it until our not stable.

Firestrike
i7-8700k @5.0GHz w/ 1.30v, Corsair h100iv2, Gigabye Aorus gaming 7, 16GB(8x2) 2666MHz ddr4, Dual RX470's OC'd to 1390mhz(atm) in corssfire - liguid cooled with corsair h60's, 3.25 TB in Samsung SSD's, anidees white crystal cube case

Retired:
i5-4440k @3.2GHz, gigabyte ga-z87x-ud5h z87, 24GB DDR3, 3x1TB Seagate Baracuda HDD.

Dear O9B0666,

Here are some pictures of my bios settings, I do not see anything related to core multiplier, or I'm just blind...

Anyone knows what to do to overclock in my case?
