Hi I recently bought and built my new PC and everything been great. My only problem has been audio issues. Audio works perfectly fine but after unplugging my headphones (from the front audio jack) most times I get no audio after plugging it back in. Hope that made seance. I have tried reinstalling audio drivers, updating etc. Didn't fix it. I'm not even 100% sure this is an audio problem. But I think it started here, after i got the computer up and running I looked up the mother board I have (Asus Prime z370 a) and I downloaded everything on the support page, the drivers bios etc. And also downloaded the realtek audio driver on the page (https://www.asus.com/au/Motherboards/PRIME-Z370-A/HelpDesk_Download/). This digital output driver was seemingly giving others issues and I didn't like it either so I uninstalled it only for it to magically reappear after a restart. Same with the NVIDIA Output drivers that theres 4 of for some reason when i go to playback in sound options. None would uninstall so I disabled them and installed a new audio driver from realtek which doesnt have any dumb popup messages that come up when you plug anything in but im still having the problem where i cant hear after i plug my headphones back in. until i restart. What is the problem? Is it software? or hardware? I really hope its just software and an easy fix and I wont have to do a clean install and wipe everything I've downloaded in the past week or so. Thanks ahead of time! <3 P.s I have tried reinstalling/disabling razer surround too. Doesn't seem to be the problem.

Update: I downloaded the driver from that link again and ran a seemingly useful uninstall.cmd file that came with it but the driver is still there and so is the problem. Tho I dont think the driver is the problem considering it is disabled and therefore not in use. Unless a weird setting still effects the current driver. I had only used my computer for at most a day when I installed that driver so maybe the problem was there I just didn't spend long enough to face it.

Go into the Realtek audio utility. It's probable that it is not set to automatically revert to FP audio.

How do I do that? The driver im currently using doesnt have any UI or software that it comes with. The Digital Output does but it is disabled and I had checked do not show icon in icon tray anyway and i think i disabled popup so idek how to access that even if i enabled it.
