Hello PartyDJ,

 

The Intel Optane can only be used one at a time per system and can accelerate only one drive, trying to install two Optane modules in one system is not supported same as trying to accelerate two different hard drives with only one Optane stick, check the FAQs for more: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000024018/memory-and-storage/intel-optane-memory.html

so... what should I do now with the other one ( the 16gb stick...)? Just sell it? I wont sell it until my mobo comes :)

You can sell it or keep it because the Optane module is still a hard drive, however storage is not its use, you can store files as any other hard drive but it was designed to accelerate SATA hard drives.
