Out of curiosity, what made you decide to go completely solid state for this build? It's going to be a beast for gaming and you've gone all-out on the monitor, but you'll be limited in how many modern titles you can store with only 1TB total capacity.

Other than the interesting power supply choice I think that should be good.

And I take it you mean 970 EVO M.2 NVMe since the 870 EVO doesn't exist.

Also, I would personally get rid of the MX300 and go with a 2TB HDD.

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

How to setup MSI Afterburner OSD | How to make your AMD Radeon GPU more efficient with Radeon Chill | (Probably) Why LMG Merch shipping to the EU is expensive

Oneplus 6 (Early 2023 to present) | HP Envy 15" x360 R7 5700U (Mid 2021 to present) | Steam Deck (Late 2022 to present)

Mid 2023 AlTech Desktop Refresh - AMD R7 5800X (Mid 2023), XFX Radeon RX 6700XT MBA (Mid 2021), MSI X370 Gaming Pro Carbon (Early 2018), 32GB DDR4-3200 (16GB x2) (Mid 2022

Noctua NH-D15 (Early 2021), Corsair MP510 1.92TB NVMe SSD (Mid 2020), beQuiet Pure Wings 2 140mm x2 & 120mm x1 (Mid 2023),

What you mean, the v850 seemed a solid choice

I'm definitely not an expert when it comes to psu choices, but 850W seems way overkill for a build with a single cpu and a single gpu. Do you plan on buying a second gpu in future?

Remember that power supply efficiency tops out at roughly half it's rated maximum wattage, which is why I have a 550W platinum psu for my 6700K and 1080Ti - on most non-idle workloads it's within the 90-92% efficiency bracket.

Even when fully loaded you'll not reach the peak efficiency of that psu, let alone any other potential problems it may have (that I'll let more knowledgeable people explain).

Nvm it's all good. I would go down to the V750 as 750w is more appropriate for your build while still offering possible expansion down the road.

Oh forgot to mention, ever thing on my list was bought on sale or at a knocked down price, the v850 I got for 90 euro, the monitor for example nI got for 400 euro, I know the 850 is overkill but it was very good bang for buck
