Hello LTT Forums users! I recently came across a EVGA 1080ti 11GB for a very cheap price (350$ for those wondering) I am willing to spend another 850$ on components but I am having so much trouble trying to pick them. This would be my first time every building a PC. I have spent a lot of time doing research and so many products have very mixed reviews that it is just super confusing to decide. So I came here to seek help from any computer gurus or enthusiast that will be gracious enough to help me out when it comes to finding parts for my first gaming pc.

Parts I am looking for in my pc (gaming)

CPU:

CPU Cooler:

Motherboard:

DDR4 (16g):

SSD:

PSU:

Case: (Tell me what cases worked for you :D)

! COLORS DO NOT MATTER !

     RGB IS NOT NEEDED

I have that exact PSU and I have build a system in that case, its a really nice case to work in and also look at.

For this price I would go for a really good air cooler, like the one I have found, because AIO would only drive the price up without very big difference.

Also, a place you can save money is on the SSD; I basically just found the cheapest biggest one from a known brand, the all pretty much perform the same for games.

Bonus info- the ram is on the QVL memory list for this board in its 3200 MHz variant, so at least you should be able to run it like that, but the board can OC upto 3600 so should not be a problem to run at native speed.

Also, everything by chance ended up being white/black with little RGB, very 2018!

This would serve you quite well for a very long time, and has a really nice upgrade path (socket/chipset supported until 2020)

Are you sure it isn't broken or a scam? That's really ridiculously cheap for a 1080 ti

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.
