Hey,

I'm about to setup a loop for a friend of mine, but since I never build a cooling loop I wanted to make sure I got everything I needed and it would fit on the components. here is a pic of all the pieces from the pc which she has already and a pic of the watercooling I intend to put together.

Thanks for any help. dont want to wast a friends money ^_^

I would be VERY careful if you have NEVER done custom water cooling with that high end hardware. IMO its never worth doing custom water cooling, just get an AIO and be done with it.

Why are you getting custom cooling gear and the be quiet cooler?

because the pc is already running. so it would just be to be a visual upgrade.

I would recommend you consider getting a drain port, otherwise maintenance will be a pain. Also, you need more than 1 fitting.

Second the drain port. So a T or Q fitting to add it. Along with a male to male fitting for it.

Those are the correct fittings? That isn’t a hardline variant?

EK's ACF are compression fittings for flexible tubing.

@Elei

You really want a drain port. Add a T-Junction fitting, a ball valve and a plug to close it. The pump is potentially overkill, the SPC pump is probably enough for simple loop like that. The Supremacy MX CPU block will do the trick as well and save you some money. The CPU might run 1-2°C hotter. Imho that's within margin of error. The Aquacomputer Aqualis reservoirs are better looking (imho), made out of glass and cost about the same. You can get better performing radiators than the EK ones. Look for HWlabs though you might need to import the. From the language of the list I assume you're from Germany, Austria or Switzerland? There's a dutch shop selling those HWlabs Nemeis radiators. They are actually a bit cheaper than EK's radiators and offer better performance. Have you made sure that the case offers room for a 360 rad?

Thanks for the advice Bowrilla i will look for HWlabs. the pump seemed easy for me wince its a 2 in one and, which the client wanted, some RGB lighting. which goes well with the Thermaltake View 71 with all its RGB goodness. as was the reason to get that cpu block. the fittings was a place holder for colour. simply forgot to upp the numer again thanks for the reminder. If i would switch to the Aqualis, would the fittings still match?

for me it looks like there are at the top AND the front enough space to mount 360 radiators. it comes even with 3 140mm front fans. maybe get a radiator for 3 140 fans since they are already in the case?
