No, performance usually doesn't scale like that. 

Check what's making you hit some sort of frame rate ceiling, like CPU or GPU usage.

LOL, thats not how it works.

The higher the FPS, the higher the CPU load, even if your GPU can manage 240FPS.

Its from the recent update its because of the new endorsement update when u press tab and it shows the levels ect it causes fps drops
