Why people buy both SSD AND Hardrive? Isnt that useless?

Because buying a massive SSD for just the OS is dumb. Because 2TB SSDs aren't under 100 bucks. Because not all files get the benefit of faster SSD speeds. Because an SSD for archiving is dumb. Because it makes more financial sense. Because we can.

What I usually do...

Buy a small SSD (like around 120GB) only for the OS.

The HDD is for data storage, cheap and big storage space.

Though SSD isn't as expensive as it used to be, buying 1TB SSD will still severely hurt your budget. You don't want to cheap out your other parts like CPU or GPU because you spend your money on an SSD. It's about balancing your build, not spending too much on one part.

Some people opt for SSHD, which is fine, their choice.

Your most accessed files may load faster in SSHD, but others slower.

Yeah, but what I am asking is that why dont you buy just only SSD? Or why dont you buy only Hard drive? Ok, lets imagine that I got only 250gt ssd. I need more space and I buy hard drive. Does that mean that the files inside hard drive are slower or what? Could someone explain about ssds and hard drives

The reason for using both an SSD and an HDD is simple economics.

SSDs are considerably faster than HDDs. However, that speed is only beneficial when booting the OS, starting programs (especially large ones, such as games), using disk intensive programs, such as photo or video editing or rendering programs, or when moving large amounts of data at a time. The downside to SSDs is they are expensive per unit of capacity compared to HDDs.

HDDs are considerably slower than SSDs but are far less expensive per unit of capacity than SSDs. Unless frequently moving large amounts of data, HDDs are more than adequate for storing large amounts of data.

For most people, using an SSD for the OS and programs and an HDD for storing data only allows them to have the best of both worlds for the least cost.

One has to be proactive, not reactive, to ensure the safety of one's data so backup your data! And RAID is NOT a backup!

I am going to only play games and use browser, but do you mean that if I download games on my hdd, not ssd will they be slower than in ssd? And if they are slower, how much?

Slow as in loading time, not FPS. It depends on the game, I feel a noticeable difference for GTA V loading screen between SSD and HDD.

And do you mean with OS that SSD is good for downloading MAC on windows? Who would do that, mac operating system is awful

I don't get this one, what do you mean by this? Are you talking about Mac OS X? If yes, it's not possible without doing a hackintosh which is not recommended as it's illegal.
