You will have to get another one soon if you want to continue gaming at 4k, AAA current generation games at medium-high settings on a 780 ti/ 290x only hit around 40 fps average  Later on down the road when new games come out with better details, you'll be looking at barely playable framerates unless you play on low-medium settings.

Also i maybe play on 4k but if i play on normal monitor 1444pt should i still take a 290x?

I don't know about that one. I think a 780ti and 290X would be close in performance at 1440p. If you game at 1440p, I would probably get a 780ti.

ok. Same people say there is no need to get a 290x just get a 290 and overcloked it. From what you have told me is better to get a 290x. Right?

290x is a pre-overclocked 290 with a few more cores. I think that's the only difference.

You can get a 290 and possibly overclock it to 290X levels. But, there is no guarantee that you will get a card that is a good overclocker.

I will be gaming in 4k. Is it benifitable to have dual gpu? Are games utilize them?

Also should i take the 290x or just take the 290 and OC it

get the 290x. The 290x was made for 4k. Anantech has some 4k benchmarks with the 290x and it blows everything out the the water.

Finally my Santa hat doesn't look out of place
