I am looking at this pre-built. My couple of questions are with upgrading things in the future, power supply, processor and such. How likely is it that it can be done or can you rally only swap RAM and the GPU? And lastly how well do pre-builts typically hold up, better or worse then a custom rig?

Thanks,

Chris

That being a Ryzen CPU, it will be running AM4 which is supposed to be around for awhile, upgradability is a thing there. PSU is kinda universal in that form factor. If it were from HP or something like that I'd say be careful about proprietary motherboards with weird power plugs but cyberpower doesn't usually do that sort of thing. Cyberpower is a good pc maker and would recommend.

-edit-

As far as those specs go it is a little odd that they are putting an APU in with a system that has a dedicated GPU. Could probably find something with a little more of an optimized parts list with more than 8 gbs of ram for 1k tbh. And probably would be better to build your own but if you don't have the patience/ability than work with what ya got.

Awesome, thanks, and based on my limited knowledge of what it has that should be good for playing newer and older SIM games, FSX, Train SIM or Train Sim World.  Would you agree with that?

It should be able to run most any game at 1080p with the specs its got. The games you listed should run great on that machine.

Awesome, so typically that kind of brand uses off the shelf parts they just build it and ship it?

Yes.  It's more common in SFF PCs but they sometimes have custom motherboards which make upgrading the board thus the chip set nearly impossible.  On the other hand a company like Dell use proprietary MB layouts making their computers harder to upgrade

Someone like Cyberpower PC like you said just takes off the shelf parts and builds the computer and slaps on a limited warranty for you.

On the other hand if you are looking to grow into a PC and don't mind building I would get a great case and build from there since parts are always changing and going on sale.
