Hello,

so 3 days ago i bought a new laptop (asus tuf fx504gd) with:

gtx 1050,

i5 8300h,

8gb of ram 2666mhz,

1tb sshd.

So after installing Windows 10 pro 64bit i went to try out some games. When i tried to launch csgo it didnt launch at all, in LoL i was getting around 10 fps on the lowest graphics same with other games. Finally i found an issue: in games gpu usage is 0%. Do you know how to fix this problem? I have installed the most recent drivers. However in cinebench when i was doing gpu test gpu was functioning normally.1530793817189479191895.jpg.5cf13ce6bf3671530797969680-1442441329.jpg

The graph tells you that the laptop uses the built in intel gpu, instead of nvidia gpu. You have to go to nvidia control panel, manage 3d settings, global settings, use nvidia gpu.

It seems like gpu1 is the intel gpu, while gpu 2 is your Nvidia gpu.

Have you installed the Nvidia drivers?

Easy to fix. Go to Nvidia Control Panel, manage 3D settings, set preferred GPU to Nvidia GPU. If you want to save some battery life, then only apply this to the programs you prefer to use dGPU (games for instance)

GPU 1 is 1050 while GPU 2 is iGPU

you can't disable iGPU in laptop BIOS unless it's GSync enabled

Then it may be a firmware/BIOS issue

well it can't be firmware issue, because laptop came wiithout OS. It might be bios issue, but when i tried to update bios, it froze, so i was forced to cancel bios update and restart computer. Now I'm afraid to brick my bios so I don't want to risk and try to update it once again.

yeah it boots. Updated bios 10minutes ago everything is okay except for frame rates in games. cant fix this issue...

the BIOS isn't bricked, otherwise it wouldn't boot.
