hi guys

i have this fan controller  noctua NA-FC1

so how to install this on a psu and mobo my mobo only have 1 3 pin header ( i dont know how but this real only have one 3 pin header i check the manual and the only header fan i see sys-fan and cpu-fan)

and this have 4 pin 

or just install the sata cable and leave the 4 pin without connect it to mobo ??

can anyone help me

You can still put the 4pin connector onto the motherboard's 3pin header, and it should fit. However, you will lose the ability to control the speed of the fan.

i know but i want install 3 fans on my case and one header don't do the job so when put this fan controller to the psu only without the mobo will do the job to control fan or this well not help ??

It just depends on how you want to control it, for manual control using the dial you just need to provide it power either through the fan header (full12V) or via sata power, I recommend sata power since if your putting multiple fans on it your not having to worry about the power limit of the fan header it's attached to.
