Am I missing something, or is the better ram on the left, which is also cheaper than the regular slower ram on the right? (other than only being 2 sticks) Or is the RAM on the right just severely over priced? I just want to confirm before I make a purchase.

The one on the right is overpriced, because it is sold by a custom seller(J-electronics), while the left one is sold by amazon.

Get the rgb one, it is faster and has RGB and is also sold by amazon, so returns are easier.

It is a triple win situation.

The one on the right is LPX (low profile) So it is only useful if you have a tight air cooler.

Thats faster RAM than either and $40 less than the one from Amazon.

Its actually a triple win because its faster, cheaper, and its NOT sold by a destructive company like Amazon?

Like the one on the left, its 2x8GB so you can upgrade to 32GB easily if you have 4 DIMM slots.

I wouldn't buy that one if you have a tempered glass case and want good looks. I'd get the RGB

Not everyone likes the now very cliche RGB LED aesthetic and might want something faster rather than something with decorative lights that do nothing to benefit performance.

I know, but even the one on the right looks better than the one on Newegg, in my opinion

Thank you for the feedback guys. Here is the one I've decided to go with.

CORSAIR Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB (4 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Desktop Memory Model CMW32GX4M4C3200C16

I've read that a kit may perform a little better than 2 of the same identical ram.

Pairing it with an ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-F, and an i7 8700K.
