Is it okay to set GPU Fan Speed on 100% while gaming for hours?

It might lower the life expectancy of your fans by a bit.

 

You shouldn't need your fans at 100% for that long though...

As long as your GPU isn't getting into the 90+ degree Celsius range, you'll be fine.

 

I run an overclocked GTX 780, fan only gets up to 60ish percent speed while gaming. Also for hours.

I see... I should just set it to automatic then? Cuz when I game temp lis like 49-55ish

No reason to worry about temperatures. Automatic should be fine, usually the default fan curve doesn't need much tinkering.
