Xbox style controller vs PS4 Style controller

So I am going to buy a controller 

Not the official controller from either but the third part ones

So which layout style should I get 

PS4 style or Xbox Style

I will mostly use it  for RPG's  and FPS games(offline)

But not for online and competitive games 

i dont play games like fifa either
