So after a while of trying to fix some bent pins I start it up and the code on my motherboard (when translated) says Early CPU initialization and Early North Bridge Initialization.

Wondering if this has to do with the bent pins (that I am 100% sure are fine now)

CPU - i7-4790k

GPU - MSI 980 Ti

Mobo - MSI Z97 Gaming 5

Memory - 32 GB DDR3

Storage - 3.4 TB

The northbridge has another name, the "memory controller hub" that is related the RAM, CPU and the graphics bus.

First of all, make sure that your socket does not have any bent or damaged pins anymore. Use a magnifying glass to make it easier on yourself.

I highly suspect that the socket is still damaged.

If that's done, verify if the CPU or RAM is compatible. If so, reseat the CPU, RAM, or your GPU (but check the RAM first).

If all of that doesn't work, use only one RAM module to boot the PC, or move the RAM in another slot, etc.

It might also be useful to clear the CMOS of your motherboard.

Will do, but I've been trying to fix the bent pins for a little over 2 weeks now. It looks decent but I guess ill give it another go.

Be careful though, if you overwork the metal pins too much, they will break due to metal fatigue.

Also, check if the pins might have come loose from the socket/the board itself.
