Hey guys, i have been having problems in all my games recently. In Battlefield 1 for example my gpu usage sits at 50% to 60% and my cpu usage at 80% to 100% causing an 40-60 fps, and when the cpu usage hits 100% the game freezes for 1-2 seconds.Almost the same thing with the division where gpu usage is 40% to 50% and cpu usage 80% to 90% and the fps floats about 40-80 and the same thing happens when the cpu usage hits 100%.
Temperatures are fine on both games

I ran UserBenchmark: http://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/9517603.

And ran Heaven Benchmark an got a score of 2809.58.

In both benchmarks the gpu had 98% to 99% usage and in Heaven i had 70 degrees with the i7 4790k and 76 with the 1080.

My Specs:

GTX 1080 GIGABYTE G1 GAMING
INTEL CORE I7-4790K (No OC)
SEAGATE HDD 1TB
SEAGATE HDD 3TB
SANDISK SSD 120GB
CORSAIR VENGEANCE RED 8GB RAM DDR3
EVGA 700W 80PLUS BRONZE PSU
WATERCOOLER MAELSTROM 120T DEEPCOOL 120MM
ASUS B85M-E/BR MOTHERBOARD

That BF1 screenshot shows my issue, most of the time i got 30-40 fps with 40% gpu usage.

Used DDU to uninstall nvidia drivers and then reinstall but it changed nothing.

Tried all power options on nvidia control panel and windows power options as well.

Help, i just dont know what else to do !!

The problem is your CPU usage is 100%. That's an indication of a performance bottleneck. If the CPU is taxed with doing stuff for the game, it doesn't spend enough time to tell the GPU what to do.

The only way to fix this is to upgrade the CPU, preferably to something with more cores.

That is weird, i didnt have this before, the i7 4790k shouldnt bottleneck the 1080.

You should do a benchmark and stress test you cpu. like M.Yurizaki said it looks like a CPU bottleneck.

This could be due to your cpu not preforming as it should.

Also keep an eye on the temps, cpu and gpu. They will throttle if they reach certain temps.

I did a benchmark and cpu usage was about 30% and gpu usage 98%.Temperature on cpu was 60 to 70 degrees and gpu  had a max temperature of 63 degrees.

OS is updated to 1803

I ran UserBenchmark and SSD and both HDD are performing above expectations, RAM on the other hand is performing above expectations, but it still poor (30%). Probably because its 5 years old.
