So I bought an used gtx 970 and it doesnt work in my computer, it shows up in device manager but with yellow triangle (code 43) tried updating drivers, updating bios, reflashing vBios.

I get black screen and bluescreen, after many restarts i sometimes get picture but with very low res like 800x600 and after a few seconds it restarts again.

I have putted Pcie to primary but still doesnt work, I only get picture when I use iGPU and onboard working together.

I have tried the gpu in an older system and it worked great.

I have an p8z77-v le motherboard

850w bronze power supply

i5 3570k 4.2ghz

24gb ram

i have resetted the card back and forth over 40 times now, tried to fix this for weeks.. reading forums but still no solution.

I have reseted cmos too.

pc works great with my old gtx 660ti and ive used DDU to wipe all drivers

all connectors is checked, and plugged in 8+6 pin

please tell me if its something u wna know and i'll tell u

when i have the card in and using iGPU its stable but it shows code 43 in device manager, and if i connect the other screen to the card it freezes.

but this doesnt happen in the other computer, in the other computer the card works great so im not sure if the card is toast, but ive seen other people have problems with z77 motherboards and gtx 970 but the 970 should work with my z77 motherboard so im very clueless.

Well first of all, have you seen that 970 working on another computer (with drivers at 1080p ) ?
If its so you problem is motherboard (upgrade bios?)
If that 970 crashes when trying to display full hd or when drivers are installed (displaying 1080p) that 970 is broken.Ç

I hope its only a matter of bios :(  I had same problem with a 780ti coudn't resolve (thought it's a brick)
