Csgo only 120fps

So i have a problem with csgo having issues pushing over 120-140fps. I turned vsync off and changed power saving (from control panel and nvidia panel) to max performance. My rig: single 8gig 2800mhz, i3-8350k@4.8ghz and gtx 1060@1807mhz. Taking likes/dislikes from the build.

Well running single-channel isn't going to help. But lets start with the basics like vsync, is fps_max set to 0. Etc.

8350 was on Hardware Unboxed's "worst CPU" list for a reason. So no likes on the build from me.

Wtf? The 8350 is awesome? 4.8ghz on a quad core for like $180. It's pretty much a 7700K.

Are the fps locked to 120 or does it get a little higher and/or little lower?

170 euro for a quadcore, when AMD offers 12 threaded CPU's at that price bracket. i3-8350 is horrendous value.

Yeah but non of the AMDs go to 5ghz... Single Threaded performance is MUCH better on the i3, which makes it the better choice for gaming.

Quad cores are tapped out. 5ghz is a nice novelty, but 4 threads vs. 12 threads. It's not even a competition. Nobody should buy the 8350, which is why most hardware reviewers call it bad value.
