I'm trying to find the cheapest pre-build system that at least has a processor faster than intel core 13 330M and a memory card better than 4.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 at 532MHz and will also let me upgrade to even better parts(a better processor, ram graphics card etc.). BTW I live in the Philippines if that helps.(might be a bit vague but basically a decent pre-build that is compatible to higher components)

I can't really give an answer on where will I shop but I'm pretty flexible when it comes to the price(though the cheapest is there for a reason) and I plan to use it on gaming and video editing.

If you have flexible budget, just get a new system that will handle everything for years. Every time you buy stuff, used or not, costs money. It's not worth buying something old and cheap to upgrade it later.

Especially when Ryzen introduced 6 core and 8 core to the mainstream platform, which means older stuff, even HEDT platform like X79, wont catch up to it in performance while not being cheaper.

I won't get into specifics but basically I got in a bet with some one that will guarantee me a system unit with the specs of my choice. Now the thing is my laptop ain't really keeping up so I was hoping on getting an at least better system unit to replace my laptop then if I win the bet, I can just upgrade it to the best parts that I can find

Cant you just ask for a full new system if you win the bet? If you cant wait, get some full system with CPU like the 4th gen i7 or 8 thread Xeon E3.

Old Dell servers can be found on eBay for around $250, having 16 - 24GB of ram and 2 Xeon X5650's, which equals 12 cores, 24 threads. Pretty good for the price.

If you're not into server grade hardware, you can get an i5 2500, 4GB of ram and a 250GB HDD for $110 USD.

the bet is a full system. I'm just trying to find a replacement for my laptop for the mean time because it's really holding out.and also because an upgrade costs less than an entirely new system(theoretically). either way Thank you for the advice
