Temps?

Just curious of what temps I may get with my Windforce r9 290 based on those of the 270x and the 280x.

It would mostly depend on fan speed, paste spread, and voltage. It can vary so we can't truly tell.

I don't really know, run it in games and see what it kicks out

I would say around 60 at load , windforce is usally great cooling just a lot of power consumption

Doesnt it depend on what mode you set it in that amd program?I mean Quiet Mode and Uber Mode?

Remember that the R9 cards tend to get very hot (stock cards) For the R9 290 to perform as a 780Ti it probably needs to reach 94 C, and even with a aftermarket cooler it will probably be hotter then the stock 780Ti at around 83 C

After I overclock it, it will be at around 80 C and that is a safe temp so its all good with me. Besides Im not trying to compete with the 780 ti. I am just trying to have the most from my card that I can get, though it may come Close to a titan.
