i was looking at building a Ryzen desktop for pc gaming at 1080p 144hz and maybe some streaming. I Have a budget of $2300 CAD. Here is the pc partpicker list i came up with. I want to stay with AMD and overclock the amd Ryzen Cpu.

this will be better. no need for extra cooler as the stock one and XFR2 will handle the CPU without overclock for maximum performance

Would the zotac mini GPU cut down on performance? Also would I be better off waiting for the 1180. One more thing I am still saving up for the build and will probably be saving still for 3 months about. I just want to check if was on the right track for my build.

not really. it will be fine. the 1180 is expected to be a paper launch with the abundance of 1000 series cards still being in storage. a 1080 will still be really good even post launch.

Good build. You might consider initially going with the stock cooler and a 2700X. A better cooler can be added later. I'd also be tempted to spend a touch more and get a 650W psu.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
