So I have been thinking(dangerous I know).U have heard about cloud gaming right? The game is stored on the operators or company's server and is streamed to your PC or whatever. So why could we not do the same thing with our cell phones? Using our own pc's as the server and have the processes streamed to the cell phone? If that would work, imagine the endless possibilities! I am not a cell phone expert so there are probably 100 of things that wouldnt work with this idea...but what do you guys think?

But isn't nvidia doing that with the shield project?

Ye thats what I figured. But I wasnt thinking for gaming but for everything that way you would not be restricted by the small size of a phone. You could have an i7 running your tablet without heat issues....

actually that might happen like 5 or 10 years from now when you can get 100megabit connection via cell , im pretty optimistic about cloud gaming and computing

Yes. I am not sure how the interface would work but you would have the processing power....

well actualy the nvidia sheild has something like this, it will leverage your desktop pc to process and then use wifi for the display and controlls. and if they can work that out with gaming other applications would work great especially because they dont need to be as responsive as a game.
