Hardrive showing up in This PC(Disk Management) but not showing up in devices and storage

M4TR1X

I Just built my PC yesterday and everything seems to be going okay.

I have installed windows on my SSD, but because my hard drive is not showing up in devices and drives in folders. So, I had to install steam to my SSD.

I went onto disk management in This PC and it says that the device is working properly. But I cant see it in folders.

Also, check whether "hide empty drives" is set... don't remember where that setting is ATM, but try storage options.

Before a drive becomes visible, you have to first initialise it in disk management and then format it (and steam doesn't have to be installed on the drive the games will be installed to as you can create a folder on that drive and then set it as an install location in steam and remove the original install location).
