Broken Messenger?

Can someone please explain me why my messenger looks like this?
This happened after I linked my Instagram to Messenger, even after unlinking it the UI didn't change, changing to another account brings back the normal messenger UI, when I switch back to this account, this UI comes back.
Someone please tell me how to get back to the old UI, I tried clearing data and cache, uninstalling and reinstalling and also rebooting and factory wiping my phone (I was gonna wipe it anyways because I needed more space that was stuck from the older ROM).
And I blacked out the chat and people intentionally using the older paint app in my laptop.

What do you mean by declassified chats? And how do I even fix this to bring the normal UI?

Apparently this is the new UI so d-d-d-deal with it. Also looks like you have a really ancient version of Android there, btw.

You got it all wrong, the question is why is the UI like that, I blacked out the text and pictures myself, read the post.

This isn't the new UI, the new UI is themed blue and white, with 5 icons in the bottom and the middle one is the camera button.

This is what it looks like, only I took the Screenshot before the app got enough time to load it.
