ESET VS Bitdefender?

I want to buy a security app for my pc, but I want to know which one is better? I'm a long time user fo Eset Internet Security, but my friend told me to try Bitdefender supposedly it should be better than Eset, but I'm not sure. What I like about Eset is that it's lightweight and it's not that annoying in the notification side.

Thanks

AMD Ryzen 1700x

Asus Crosshair VI Hero

GTX 1070

500gb Samsung SSD

Windows 10 & Linux

I like bitdefender, especially the game mode. It turns of scans, updates or notifications automatically when it detects you are gaming. It also managed to catch a couple of websites which tried mining with my PC. I would say, give it a shot and if you don't like it go back to ESET.

If you already use ESET Nod32 there is no reason to move away from it, it is a legit and solid protection software.

@Konrad Kwasniewski The thing is, ESET does every thing you said so switching software's is rather redundant.

I'm going to be the odd man out here and say do this instead:

Run ad blocking software when browsing.

Run as a limited user.

Don't download random crap from weird websites.

Run a malware scan from time time time.

Dump the AV software, it's just slowing your system down.

NOTE: I no longer frequent this site. If you really need help, PM/DM me and my e.mail will alert me.
