I just acquired a nice speaker cabinet I can run off of a single 3.5mm input. I've always just used headphones through my motherboard's audio out port, and I was thinking I'll just use my front panel audio in conjunction with the rear jack and swap between my headphones and the speakers. However I've discovered that my front panel audio has stopped working. I used to use it with the headphones, and the connections to the motherboard are all there. When I plug into the jack, no additional audio device pops up. Could this just be a windows thing? Thanks for your help.
