Sweet spot for selling electronics(Phones/Laptops)

I have added a lot of unuseful electronics over the years by waiting too long on them. What could be the right time to sell any phone or laptop to get the best output? 2 years? or 3 years?

Main system (Mini itx 80mm)

i5-7500 | Asrock h110m | Noctua L9i | Realan H80 Case | 8GB 2400 Ram ADATA | M600 SSD | 500 GB Seagate

 

Other System (Laptop)

i7 3632QM | Toshiba | 8GB Corsair VS RAM | Sandisk SSD PLUS | 500GB Toshiba HDD

theres no best time to sell it.. if you dont need it , sell it.. if you use it, dont sell it just becuase theres a new one and you can get 50 dollars more then you can in 2 years
