Hey Guys!

So I am about to build a Gaming RIG, and before that I wanted to know the traditions of using it. I mean I have a Core 2 duo that I currently use. I wanted to know if I should keep a seperate PC for messenger, e-mails and all that stuff or just do everything on my Gaming PC.

I may use the Core 2 Duo PC on my test bench if you think i should just use everything on my Gaming PC.

Chances are, if it's a build made for gaming, it's going to be enough to do all of that and then some. So no, you don't need two PCs unless you're streaming through one and gaming on the other.

any computer you use for gaming can do everything else, no reason to keep an old slow computer around or have a second computer for the other shit.

unless you are messengering/checking emails while you are actively gaming there is no reason for a second computer and even then that stuff can simply go to a second screen on the gaming computer if you really need to see it all at once.
