Second Display Won't Detect

i just thought , if the machine doesn't show the bios with only the hdmi->vga connected , then it's a hardware compatibility problem not software.

@emosun booting into Windows with the monitor plugged in via HDMI to VGA works fine, it's displaying normally.

 

Gonna try connecting my main display now.

the 10 series does this sometimes too where it needs a restart to detect some displays

Windows is the root of most pc issues nowadays...
