Dead?

Hi guys

 

So i had an issue with my pc where it hardlocked on a black screen and had no signal coming from the monitor upon rebooting.

 

I first removed my gpu and tried integrated graphics and everything was fine.

 

Is there anything i could try to fix it or is it as good as dead?

Roll back your drivers a version and see if you can boot with your GPU that way.

Did you try the other ports on the video card?

i was thinking this, is it as simple as donwloading older ones and installing? 

Edit: i also think there is a bios switch on my gpu, so i could try that.

Yeah no luck...

If it was to be dead, it would not show up in the bios right?, I might try loading it up with both bios switches and then see if it is recognized

I just tried with both bios switches and could not get into windows, even with the igpu for some reason. I could get in without the power connectors in the gpu but not with them. However the gpu is detected in the bios funnily enough. Looks like im in the market for a new gpu, is there any news on the upcoming gpus, i have been out of the swing lately?
