Well I need a mouse, and after playing with the Logitech g700s for a while I love it but it has a few problems for me even though its by far the best mouse I've played with.

1. The right side of the mouse is completely empty, I have so many thumb and pointer finger buttons but I could easily use one for my ring finger on the empty side of it. This would be perfect as a hot key to lower my DPI like a sniper mode when playing FPS, so I wouldn't have to take my finger or thumb off important buttons.

2. The buttons don't feel as clicky as I'd like, especially the thumb buttons.

3. Weight and build quality, to me it feels light and poor cheap plastic quality although that could be me being paranoid.

4. This is my biggest problem with it, it's just so damn small, I would love it to be like 50% larger so I would not have to claw it and contort my damn fingers to press buttons which should be easy to reach, and be able to palm it for comfortable long sessions, if I try to palm it now it only goes just past my fingers and half my palm is dragging on the desk.

But there's also things I love about it

1. The scroll wheel, it being a button, tilting it each way being extra buttons and the fact you can have it clicky or free scroll.

2. I love the button placement other than the size issue.

3. High DPI

4. Great design, the thumb area is comfortable and I like the texture.

Is there any mouse out there that would fix my dislikes but keep my likes?

Have you seen a Func MS-3. It's a pretty large mouse with a significant amount of buttons. Obviously it's a different mouse both in terms of shape and button placement but you may like it. Linus even made a video about it...

I checked out that page and it certainly seems like a mouse worth considering, the worst that can happen is I but it and don't like it as much and use it for a different system. I will check out the video when I get home though, ill have to wait about an hour for a video to load with shopping mall wifi lol but definitely a cool mouse

The MS-3 is a comfortable mouse, but the scroll wheel will break after several months of use and their customer reps are almost non-existant.. I hear the mionix naos 5000/8200 is pretty good.
