Hey all,

First time posting, but I figure I might actually get some answers here, instead of trying to piece together an answer with hours of google-ing.

I built my first computer about two years ago. I just moved across the country and sent my computer through UPS, who absolutely destroyed it. I was at least smart enough to take my SSD boot drive and my HDD storage drive along in my luggage. Now, I am having to build a mostly new computer, and thought it would be a good time to move my OS to a new M.2 drive. How would I go about that without wiping my SSD and HDD? Or do I have to do that? Will my SSD and HDD just work if I plugged it into the new system? I am mostly a PC noob so don't expect too much knowledge out of me.

Thanks so much for any help!

You need to reinstall windows.

The easiest way is to get a second brand new SSD and install windows on it, then plug in your old drives and copy paste your data to the new drive, then wipe the old drives and sue them as storage.

Programs need to be reinstalled, you can only move over regular data.

Yes, they will work. You will have to install/remove&install drivers for the new system though.
